That seems to be a really successful project of the Renault company. It is connected to Nissan, whose predecessor Datsun has the most experience in the construction of pickups, although the former are not comparable with the ones of today.

Renault itself has generally accepted diesel engines in the program. In addition, they were already successful in cleaning up some corners of the now branched group. And in the field pickup, not only in the field of heavy SUVs Renault has considerable backlog demand.

All this looks a bit like a classic example for synergy. In the first step, the model range of Nissan Navara is streamlined in 2015. There is only one base engine left, but in two performance levels. Since the is smaller again than the previous engines, the CO2 emissions are reduced significantly.

Still, it has plenty of power thanks to dual turbochargers. At the rear suspension the rigid axle is multi-linked now, except in the cheapest model. All-wheel drive and air conditioning is missing there, too. Therefore, one can offer a very attractive base price.

Maybe, that the fully automatic transmission will be changed in one of the next steps. However, the name of the car is chosen well, it is a reminder of a country where too many places really leads neither road nor path. And probably the gradually running up production of the Renault part is sold initially to South America. Then the Europeans have had time to get used to such a big car.


And then the design. Lots of chrome for pickups are even now not so generally considered reasonable. And the interior to distinguish from a midsize car just because of the size yet. And these wheels, which must have naturally 21 inches for the spoiled Europeans. So far, it looks as if you have done everything right ... 07/15
